At Cyber Skills, we’re thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Dr. Urja Pawar, who recently graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy – PhD on the subject of Explainable Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. This achievement marks the culmination of years of dedication, hard work, and groundbreaking research. 

Urja’s journey was nothing short of inspirational. Her doctoral research showcased not only her technical expertise but also her critical analysis skills, which she honed under the exceptional guidance of her supervisors, Donna O'Shea, Ruairi O'Reilly, and Christian Beder. Their mentorship played a pivotal role in shaping her research and inspiring her to ask questions that deliver meaningful value to the field. 

A special thanks goes to the McKesson team, especially Brian Padden, for their unwavering support throughout Urja’s PhD journey. Their contributions, along with the backing of ADVANCE CRT, provided invaluable resources and encouragement. Additionally, we extend our gratitude to the Munster Technological University community, whose collaboration and environment nurtured Urja’s academic growth.
