Dr. Lubna Luxmi Dhirani

Dr. Lubna Luxmi Dhirani is a Lecturer at Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, University of Limerick, Ireland. Lubna joined the CyberSkills project in May 2021. She previously worked in a Post-Doctoral role (Data and Network Security) on Securing Intelligent Manufacturing and Machine Control (IMMC) Industry project, which was carried out under SFI Confirm Research Centre for Smart Manufacturing. Her research focused on securing M2M communications in Industry 4.0 while implementing Industry’s best practices, Cybersecurity Standards and Security Controls. Lubna is the first Women in Engineering (WIE) Ambassador from Ireland in the IEEE WIE (UK&I) section and she has also remained a StemAspire mentee at DELL Technologies, Limerick.
