Cyber Innovate is a needs-led, full-time, entrepreneurship training programme built on MTU's acclaimed research, innovation, entrepreneurship and academic training ecosystem.
Cyber Explore at MTU, hosted at the Nimbus Research Centre, is on a mission to strengthen the security of Ireland's digital assets and resilience of its critical infrastructure. It's core aim is to securely blend the digital world with the physical world, protecting everyone and making systems more resilient to cyber security by fostering skills, research, and innovation.
Cyber Explore undertakes many cyber security projects, addressing all stages of technological development. These initiatives benefit from varied partnerships and funding, including Enterprise Ireland Innovation Vouchers/Partnerships, Science Foundation Ireland National Challenge Fund, Research Training and Research Centres, SEAI, Horizon Europe, and Digital Europe.

Cyber Futures is a cyber security career promotion programme at Cyber Skills, funded by the Science Foundation Ireland Discover fund. It features the cyberfutures.ie website, which shares information about cybersecurity career opportunities in Ireland, an Instagram account highlighting careers and pathways, and a series of events, including the free online Summer Cyber Security Academy for secondary school students. The programme offers resources, career stories, and hands-on activities to inspire the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
